Do I have to be a state resident to Apply?
No, but non-residents must either work in Indiana or own a business in Indiana in order to apply.
Do I have to be a US Citizen to apply?
No, but you must be legally allowed to own and posses a firearm under federal law.
What is the Application Fee for the state permit?
The 4 Year Permit is $50. A Lifetime Permit is $135
What is the Renewal Fee?
To renew the 4 Year permit is $40
Will I be notified when my permit is going to expire?
No
How long does it take to get the permit after my application has been submitted?
60 Days from the date the state receives your application
What is the complete process to apply for the permit?
Schedule an appointment with your local police state or county sheriff’s office. Fill out the required application and submit yourself to fingerprinting. Pay the required fee.
Are Permit Holders Required to Notify Law Enforcement When Confronted?
No.
Can Private Property Owners Prohibit Firearms on Their Property?
Yes
How long is the class?
There is no required class to obtain a permit. We offer various class options depending on your needs.
Are there Discounts for Seniors or Veterans?
No.
What is Your Refund Policy? What If I Can’t Attend the Class I Signed Up For?
We will refund students when unable to attend a class they have prepaid for. We ask for prepayment only to have a reliable count of how many students are coming. This has become necessary because we fill most of our classes to capacity. Our full refund policy can be see here.
With an Indiana CCW what states may I carry in?

Will my or can my neighbors, friends, employer find out I have a CCW?
No, Indiana’s CCW is NOT PUBLIC INFORMATION.
Must I register my firearm when I receive my permit?
No, Firearms are not registered in Indiana.
What forms of payment will Indiana accept?
Payment methods will vary by city/county.
What forms of payment will ConcealedCarry.com accept for the course?
Cash, check, or credit card (Visa, or MasterCard). We prefer if you prepay online but should you feel uncomfortable you can call us to make other arrangements.
